Colombian roots, North Shore home

Pomona began with a simple idea carried from Colombia: that coffee is a reason to sit down, and a table is a reason to stay. On Humphrey Street we make everything by hand, pour wine we're proud of, and keep the kind of room where a quick coffee turns into a long conversation. This is hospitality the way we grew up with it. Unhurried, generous, and made for company.

"Come for the coffee. Stay for the table."

The newly expanded Pomona Swampscott dining room, warm oak, natural light, tables set for service.

The room grew

A bigger room, because you kept filling the first one.

Swampscott kept coming back, so we opened the wall into the space next door. A new dining room, more seating, a proper service bar, and the same table you already knew. The wait is shorter than you remember.

The morning ritual

Espresso worth slowing down for.

Specialty coffee poured with Colombian care. A single cup is a small ceremony here — one we've been practicing since long before Humphrey Street.

  • CortadoDouble shot, warmed milk, restrained foam.
  • Café con LecheColombian tradition, morning to afternoon.
  • Iced Vanilla LatteCold, sweet, honest.

Weekends on Humphrey Street

Brunch that becomes an afternoon.

Overhead brunch spread — arepas, eggs, coffee, mimosas — shared across a warm oak table.
Friends mid-toast with mimosas, bright weekend light, laughter in motion.

Colombian-influenced plates, weekend cocktails, and a room built for long conversations. The new dining room means the wait is shorter than you remember.

Evenings at Pomona

Dinner, poured slowly.

Handcrafted plates, quiet candles, a glass that never quite empties. Come for a Wednesday, stay through a Sunday.

The wine bar

Half café, half wine bar.
Entirely on purpose.

Red wine hitting a wide-bowled glass at golden hour, deep amber highlights against a dark wood bar.

We built a wine and malt program around bottles we'd want to open ourselves — approachable, honest, and paired with the food we cook. No jargon, no gatekeeping, just a good pour and a place to sit.

Celebrate here

The new room was made for this.

Birthday dinners, baby showers, corporate brunches, small celebrations, wine nights. The expansion gave us room for the table you've been waiting to fill.
